Original Wolfen Color 200 is a completely newly developed color negative film, made in Germany. Optimized for daylight shooting, the material can also be used with artificial light - with appropriate filtering. This versatile film offers vibrant colors with appealing saturation and a pleasant grain structure.

Original Wolfen Color 200 expands the palette of filmmakers, as this material offers a unique and incomparable look. Ideal for commercials, short films, television shows, flashbacks, documentaries, music or skating videos and many other projects. The texture and unique color reproduction convey a beautiful cinematic charm and are immediately and directly recognizable to everyone as analog. A stylistic device for which narrow-gauge film - within otherwise completely digital productions - is used in larger quantities today.
This uniqueness and quick recognition as Photographic Film are the advantages and strengths of this material.

Imperfections are possible in cine film applications. We achieved the best results when exposing at 160 ASA (this results in a denser negative). For machine development, devices designed for 8mm or 16mm film should be used, as these transport the film "more gently" and with less film tension. Above all, excessive pressure on the wet emulsion must be avoided. For example, no RemJet removal should be carried out, as this is not necessary and puts unnecessary strain on the film.
