Character

Ilford Delta 400 is characterized by its fine grain for its sensitivity and clear detail reproduction. The modern core-shell emulsion produces a comparatively smooth look with nuanced shades of gray. In the MINOX packaging, the film structure becomes more pronounced in enlargements due to the small negative format.

ISO 400 is suitable for changing light and handheld shooting. When exposed at a higher EI, the development must be adjusted accordingly. Grain and contrast may increase as a result.
