This DVD contains 38 international hits on 16mm film – from an original Italian jukebox. The DVD has now been re-released with a new cover and inlay in a larger box in a limited edition of 100 copies. Built in Italy in the early 1960s, the jukebox didn't play the songs from a record. It contained 38 narrow films – an early form of the video clip. Riccardo Ranchi dances the African Waltz, Milva stands on the beach and croons "Canta per voi", and two boys belt out in German in front of the Arc de Triomphe: "Sing a song, banjo boy!" The DVD is operated via a child's play menu that replicates the button controls of the original jukebox. A little highlight: pictures of the jukebox's inner workings can also be seen.
