Perfectly compatible flash unit for the Canon A1 with fully automatic flash exposure. Also compatible with the entire Canon A-series.

The device was the most powerful hot shoe flash unit in Canon's product range at the time and boasted a high guide number of 34 (at ISO 100/21° at normal angle).

The flash unit is powered by 4 AA batteries.
