Here are the topics:

Schickeria – A TV documentary on Super 8
The wild years in Munich: 1965 to 1985. That was also the heyday of Super 8. Many celebrities remember it, especially Iris Berben and Thomas Gottschalk. Large parts of this four-part series, which will be released on Amazon Prime in mid-August, were shot on Super 8. In particular, the acting of the young actors who play Berben and Gottschalk. The Berlin-based specialist shop for analog filming and photography, click & surr, had the great pleasure of supporting the shoot with advice, cameras, Super 8 films and scans.

Lukas Fritz and his Filmomat
Since 2007, when he was still a teenager, Lukas Fritz has been working on automatic development systems for film and photography. His Filmomat is now available for Super 8 and 16mm. We spoke to the inventor, who now has a doctorate in chemistry, about his unique product that fills a gap in the market.

The Colors of Summer
Francisco Pereira Coutinho from Portugal has a great idea: every summer, when his extended family gets together, he shoots a Super 8 film - and it's always meant to be a music video. Everyone is happy to take part. It looks easy, but it has to be precisely staged. We spoke to him about this modern form of family film.

Double Super 8 versus Double 8
One of them, Friedemann Wachsmuth, prefers to film with double Super 8. The other, Patrick Müller, loves double 8 above all. We asked them both 8 identical questions and were pleased with the very different answers.

The Man with the Black Box
Yuta Ikeya comes from Japan and now lives in the Netherlands. He spent 18 months working on his dream: a 35mm film camera made from a 3D printer. Now it is finished and he can show us the first results he shot on it. In an interview, Yuta explains how the camera came about.

All Eumig cameras in one exhibition
They've finally done it! It took the Eumig Museum in Wiener Neudorf a long time to collect all the film camera models ever made by the Austrian company. Now they're here and form the basis of a splendid exhibition. Jürgen Lossau attended the opening and is showing exhibits from 1932 to 1981.

Dagie Brundert makes it smell good!
Only Dagie can do that: At the workshop at the Münster Art Academy, she not only gets the participants excited about film cameras, but also about the smell of the developer. You can mix in so many things: beer, caffeine, willow bark, grass, cinnamon, chili or cocoa. They filmed, developed, edited and projected for two weeks. We show the best pictures from the workshop.

Logmar's hasty march through the camera world
It was on sale for less than four weeks from May 2022: the new Super 8 camera Gentoo from Danish manufacturer Logmar. Then Tommy Madsen, CEO of the company, announced that the device would not be built after all. How did that come about? And why were the cameras presented earlier only on the market for a short time?

They are already practicing! 100 dancing Japanese women at click & surr
Five years of click & surr! The Berlin specialist shop for analogue filming and photography has an anniversary to celebrate. And is inviting people to a large installation: 100 Japanese twirling dancers will be shown on 50 Super-8 projectors. The time has come in mid-October. The Super 8 magazine already features individual images from the films that company boss Jürgen Lossau dug up on Single-8 films from the 1970s.
